Rex Minerals Ltd is a copper and gold development company. It is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:RXM) and on the US OTC Markets Group exchange (OTCQB:RXRLF). The Company has two key assets, both company-defining opportunities in their own right – the Hillside Copper-Gold Project in South Australia (SA) and the Hog Ranch Gold Property in Nevada USA. Both assets are 100% owned by Rex.
Hillside is one of the most significant copper-gold projects in Australia. It is fully permitted, with key approvals in place. Hillside has one of the biggest copper Ore Reserves in Australia and nearly double that amount of copper in Mineral Resource. Annual payable metal production at Hillside is circa 42kt copper and 30koz gold following ramp-up, with first concentrate delivery targeted for late CY2025. The estimated pre-production capital cost of Hillside is US$598M. Hillside is targeting Final Investment decision in mid CY2023.
Hog Ranch is an emerging gold property, with a JORC compliant Mineral Resource of 2.2Moz gold. In addition to a start-up production option, this “camp” scale trend offers clear upside to build upon the resource with ongoing exploration expenditure. Hog Ranch has the potential for development as a low-cost heap leach gold mine.
