Prolific Mining Corp. (PMC) is a privately owned company with an advanced staged gold porphyry exploration project. PMC wholly owns the Henry Mountains project, located in Garfield County Utah, USA. The project covers >8,000 acres total including 303 unpatented BLM mining claims (~6000 acres), one patented mining claim (covering 82 acres), and four Utah school and institutional trust lands (“SITLA”) leases (totaling 2,240 acres). PMC has invested tens of millions of dollars developing the site (including building a pilot mill), infrastructure, metallurgy, and mining equipment fleet.

The initial goal for PMC was to develop shallow high-grade gold structures. In 2018 PMC discovered the Henry Mountains project was a porphyry gold system. Since that time, PMC has performed a high-resolution aeromagnetic survey with 3D inversion that identified key targets. In 2020 PMC completed a Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (additional drilling is required to bring it fully into NI 43-101 or JORC compliance). The estimate yielded 1.8 million inferred ounces (gold-only). The estimate was carried out to understand the project with the current drill pattern. It did not include coarse gold or surface trenching/channeling samples. It is understood that drilling the new targets will add significantly to the current resource estimate.

To date, 76 drill holes have been drilled totaling 16,500 meters. These drill holes were primarily carried out as either directional drill holes to facilitate mining the shallow gold structures or as wide spaced RC drilling to help build the geologic model. Careful targeting based on the drill and surface results led to placing two deep diamond holes to test the porphyry system in 207-2018. Both holes (located 700 meters apart) confirmed a gold porphyry system and exhibited long 350-meter intercepts of gold mineralization.

The Henry Mountains project is analogous to gold porphyries in the Maricunga belt in Chile, however the project is in a tier one jurisdiction. Diorite porphyry deposits of this nature typically yield 10–29 Moz of gold and Prolific has yet to test the two key target zones. Prolific Mining is seeking a partner to earn-in to the project and test these targets at depth, ultimately taking the project to a PEA.
