Mines and Money @ Resourcing Tomorrow will return to London in 2024
Europe's leading mining investment event will return to the Business Design Centre in London from 3 – 5 December 2024.
As Europe's largest mining investment forum, you will hear from some of the greatest leaders in mining, investment, and finance with more than 250 speakers providing the latest market commentary, project updates and insights in tackling the big challenges facing the industry.
Throughout the three-day conference programme, you’ll also hear project updates from more than 100 mining companies, enabling investors to understand management’s vision for the business, the level of financing required, the upsides as well as the risks involved with the project, along with some of the most compelling reasons to invest.
Pim Kalisvaart has more than 15 years experience in the mining industry and over 10 years in private equity investing in the natural resources space.
He is Portfolio Manager at Hawke’s Point responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and monitoring mining investments. Prior to Hawke’s Point he set up and ran Xstrata Ventures, the internal private equity arm of Xstrata with a mandate to invest in early-stage mining companies and emerging mining technology companies.
From 2008 to 2010 he worked at Och Ziff's sub-Saharan natural resource investment fund. Mr. Kalisvaart started his career at JPMorgan, where he was an investment associate for the European mining M&A team.
